How to Disable Shopify Staff Order Notifications
By default, Shopify will send the store owner an email every time a new order is created. This is great for keeping track of new orders but can cause a flood of emails when importing orders into Shopify.
Fortunately, Shopify provides a simple way to disable these new order notifications.
From the Shopify Admin, navigate to the settings gear icon menu:
1. Click the 'Notifications' menu
- Scroll down to the Staff notifications section.
- From the 'Recipients' section, click the 'more menu' (three dots) next to your name.
- Switch the 'Turn off' toggle
Once updated, your staff will no longer receive an email each time an order is created or imported.
