How to Disable Shopify Staff Order Notifications

By default, Shopify will send the store owner an email every time a new order is created. This is great for keeping track of new orders but can cause a flood of emails when importing orders into Shopify.
Fortunately, Shopify provides a simple way to disable these new order notifications.

From the Shopify Admin, navigate to the settings gear icon menu:

1. Click the 'Notifications' menu

  1. Scroll down to the Staff notifications section. 
  2. From the 'Recipients' section, click the 'more menu' (three dots) next to your name.
  3. Switch the 'Turn off' toggle

Once updated, your staff will no longer receive an email each time an order is created or imported.
