Adding Product Options in Bulk

You can use Ablestar Bulk Product Editor to modify or add new product variants or options in bulk. This could be useful when you need to introduce a new option like "Size" or "Material" across many products, without editing each one individually.

Choose if you prefer the 'In-App Edit' or 'Spreadsheet' method:

1. In-App Edits

Add Options

Once you are editing a set of products, from the Configure modifications view you can add options in bulk:

1. Click in the 'Field to edit' option and search and insert 'Add Product Option'  
2. Specify the Option name and value
3. Confirm the preview of changes on the bottom half of the screen
4. Click the Run edit button to save and apply changes.

Validation

The app validates your changes before processing:

• If a product already has an option with the same name, it will show an error for that product
• If a product already has the maximum of 3 options, it will show an error for that product

This lets you safely run the edit on a mixed selection of products - the app will update the items without issue and clearly report any that couldn't be changed.

Delete Variants

You always have the option to undo any bulk edit once processed, or remove options individually from each product. There is no bulk method to delete product options in bulk at the moment.
