How to Change Capitalization

Ablestar Bulk Product Editor has advanced editing features that allow you to change capitalization of your fields in bulk.

In this edit scenario, you would use the 'Dynamic field' option while doing an 'In-App Edit' to change capitalization for many text fields like Title, Vendor or even metafields. Reference the full list of fields that have the 'Dynamic field' option before you start editing.

Start an 'In-App Edit'

In this example we will update the Title field.

Search and filter your list of products to edit, and then from the 'Configure modifications' view, specify two fields:

1. Field to edit: 'Title'
2. How to edit: any option (you can leave as default)

Click the 'Add dynamic value' link and a new popup window appears:

Specify two fields on the popup:

1. Field to use: 'Title'
2. Change capitalization:
   1. Don't change
   2. UPPER CASE
   3. lower case
   4. Title Case

Click Add dynamic field button to preview your changes and then Run edits button to finalize your changes.
