Mapping Fields for Variant Import

After you upload a spreadsheet for a variant import, you'll need to map the columns in your spreadsheet to Shopify fields. If you try to create a variant that already exists for the product, the import will update the existing variant instead.

The first column of the spreadsheet is used to tell which product the variant will be added to. This needs to be one of the following:

• The product's handle
• The product's title
• The product's Shopify ID

The remaining columns in the spreadsheet define the new variants. At a minimum, you'll need to provide:

• An Option 1 value
• Price
