Search Tips for Redirects

Here are search tips to help you efficiently search through your redirects in the Link Manager app.

In order to follow along, you should have:

• The Link Manager app installed

How to search for an exact match

You can search for an exact match by enclosing the URL in quotation marks when filtering through your redirects.

To search for an exact match:

1. Search for “/product/new-product”
2. Click Search

How to search in a specific column

You can specify which column you would like to search through for a redirect by using one of the following:

• path: will only search the 'Old Path' column. 
• target: will only search the 'Redirected To' column.

The Link Manager app will then show you all URLs that contain that text in the specified column.

To search for URLs in the ‘Old Path’ column:

1. Search for path:/design
2. Click Search

To search for URLs in the ‘Redirected To’ column:

1. Search for target:product
2. Click Search

How to search for an exact match in a specific column

If you would like to search for an exact match within a specific column, you can specify the column followed by the URL enclosed in quotation marks.

To search for an exact match in a specific column:

1. Search for path:”/product/new-product”
2. Click Search
