Partially-modified products in spreadsheet edits

When you run a spreadsheet edit for variants in your store using the Ablestar Bulk Product Editor, the partially-modified products are those who have only had some of their variants updated. This might be in the case of the vendor or supplier feed not being updated.

For example, if a product has four variants, but your spreadsheet only contains information for three of the variants, that product is considered partially-modified and flagged during the import.

✅ Tips and Troubleshooting

Use the partially-modified products report to identify variants that are not being updated by a vendor's feed, either because they've removed them, or if the data is not labelled correctly on the Shopify side.
